What is a SEPA Instant transfer and how do I send one?

iCard supports instant bank transfers in the SEPA region, which includes banks located in countries within Europe that accept SEPA Instant payments. SEPA Instant transfers let you send and receive euro transfers in a matter of seconds at any time, including weekends and holidays. 

Keep in mind that not all banks in Europe support this type of transfers since SEPA Instant is an optional program for institutions. You can check the participating banks here (scroll down and download the file for SCT Inst).

To send an instant transfer in EUR (SEPA Instant), you just have to fill in the details for a regular bank transfer (see how to do it here). If the recipient’s bank supports SEPA Instant transfers, an additional screen will be displayed where you can select how to send this transfer. You can choose between a regular SEPA transfer and a SEPA Instant transfer. 

You can also receive such transfers from other banks and the funds will be credited to your iCard for Business account in seconds. There is no fee for incoming transfers.
