Money transfers

How to send money to another iCard user?

Transfers between iCard users are a free and fast way to send money to your friends and family at any time. Follow the steps below to send money to anyone who’s on iCard:

Using а phone number:

  1. Log into your iCard app.
  2. Choose 'Send' from the main navigation.
  3. Choose a contact from the list or simply enter the recipient’s phone number.
  4. Enter an amount, choose a currency, and select an account to pay from.
  5. Review the details you’ve entered and confirm the operation using your passcode, fingerprint or face ID.

Alternatively, you can use iCard Messenger. Go to the 'Activity' screen and find a previous event with the recipient in the transactions list. When the chat window opens, tap on the 'Euro' icon in the bottom left corner to start the process.

If you don’t have previous transfers or messages with the user you want to send money to, just choose the chat icon in the 'Activity' tab to start a new chat.

Using a QR Code:

If you don’t want to share your personal information, you can pay or get paid using QR codes. This method is perfect for face-to-face transactions with people you aren’t likely to meet again.

Log into your iCard app and select 'My QR code' or 'Scan & Pay' on the 'Wallet' screen, depending on whether you’re the one sending money, or the one getting paid. The recipient should generate his QR code and the sender should scan it from his phone.

Remember that the QR code is valid for 1 minute and you can’t take a screenshot and share it via other chat apps. Internal transfers via QR codes are used only for face-to-face payments between iCard users.
