What is 3D Secure and how do I confirm an online payment?

3D Secure (3DS) offers an additional layer of security and prevents fraud whenever you use your iCard cards to pay online. 

It makes online shopping more secure both for you and the merchant by confirming that you’re the rightful card owner making the transaction. Most of the retailers have already added 3DS to their websites and mobile apps and that’s why it’s most likely that you’ll be asked to complete this step.

All of your iCard cards are protected with 3D Secure 2.0 technology. It’s enabled by default and you don’t have to do anything to activate the service.

Approving a payment is fast and straightforward:

1. If you’re asked to authenticate a payment, a 3D Secure page will be loaded after the checkout. You’ll receive a push notification from iCard on your mobile device.
2. Tap on it to log into the app and open the payment confirmation screen.
3. Review the payment details and tap on the 'Confirm' button.
