In which countries is iCard for Business available?

iCard for Business is now available in the countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.
This means freelancers and self-employed professionals residents or holding a residence permit in a country part of the EEA can register for iCard for Business. Also, businesses, which are officially registered in a country belonging to the EEA region or Switzerland have access to the solutions offered in our plans.
The full list of countrie includes: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

What’s the difference between a Freelancer and a Company plan?

The Freelancer plan is a great, cost-effective solution that allows self-employed individuals to separate their personal and businesses finances. They can send and receive payments in 10+ currencies.
The Company plan, on the other hand, is suitable for registered companies from start-ups to large enterprises looking to cut transactional costs and have a simple and intuitive platform for managing their income and expenses. For more information and details check our pricing page here.

Can I enroll more than one company?

Yes, you can create separate registrations in iCard for Business for as many companies as you want and switch between them with just the tap of a button.

What do I have to do to sign up for a business account?

You need to fill in a short online registration form containing information about you and your business activity. Next you will receive in your inbox a link for validating the registration. Once the registration is confirmed, you will need to verify your identity in a video chat. It takes less than 5 minutes.
To start the chat, download our mobile app iCard for Business (available in Google Play and App Store). When your identification is completed our team will review all your information and may get in touch to confirm a few details. Usually it takes about 5 business days.

How to add funds to my iCard for Business?

You can top up your account via bank transfer - send money to your iCard IBAN from another account of yours.
Your currency account details are available in tab “Accounts” in the mobile app - iCard for business or in your web profile.
Another way to top up your account is directly from a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB). To add money from a debit/credit card, after log-in on the web or in the mobile app, go to tab “Fund”, enter the card details to link it to your iCard for Business and follow the instructions.

Is there a fee to use iCard for Business?

There aren’t any setup fees for opening your iCard for Business primary account nor for adding additional accounts. There is a monthly service fee, depending on whether you are a registered company or a self-employed professional.
  • Freelancer Plan - EUR 5.99 /month
  • Company plan - EUR 20.00/month

Will I be charged for receiving money into my business accounts?

No, we won’t charge you for receiving money. All incoming transfers are completely free of charge.

What currencies are available?

After we have set up your profile and it is ready to use you should receive an account with unique IBAN and account number in the primary for your country of residence/ the country of registration of your company currency (for example, if your company is registered in the UK, your first account will be in GBP). You will be able to open and hold additional business accounts, completely free of charge, in all the other currencies we support.
The currencies available are : EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, HRK, BGN, JPY, RON, PLN, CZK and ISK. We will add more currencies very soon, so stay tuned!

How many accounts I can open?

You can open up to five accounts in each currency available to make it easier to manage the different kinds of expenses, separate payments in different currencies and exchange money between your accounts in the currencies we offer.

Will I have a ready to use account upon my registration? Currency?

Yes, once your registration details are confirmed by our team, you should receive a primary account in a default currency:
  • If you have registered a company:
    The currency of your primary account is depending on the country of registration of your business. This means that if your company is registered in the UK your primary iCard account will be in GBP.
  • If you are registered as self-employed:
    The currency of your primary account is depending on the country where you are a tax resident. This means that if you are a resident in the UK your primary iCard account will be in GBP.

You can open additional accounts in any other of the 11 currencies at any time. It’s free and easy!

How many business iCard VISA debit cards can I order?

You can order as many physical debit cards as you want for free. You just need to cover the shipping costs.
