What is the difference between a personal and a business account?

iCard offers two types of accounts – personal and business – depending on which of the services you wish to use. Our fee structure also differs between personal and business accounts.

  • iCard Digital Wallet – Personal account

You can open a personal account if you're an individual and will be using iCard as a means to pay online or on POS, withdraw cash, or send different money transfers. Payments and account management will be under your own names only. Any payment instruments you use, along with the personal details you register, must also be under your name.

  •  iCard for Business – Business account

If you're the owner of a company and wish to use iCard for the financial needs of your business and to have an account for receiving payments, you can open a business account with us.

The business account should be registered with the name of the company, and any payments and account management will also be in that company’s name. A representative of the company should also be registered to the account. Deposits and withdrawals can be made to and from a bank account held under the company representative's name or the company’s name.
