Why was my transfer to a card unsuccessful?

Your card transfer might fail due to one of the following reasons:

  • The card you’re trying to send money to is either blocked, destroyed, or expired;
  • The recipient’s card you’re trying to send money to isn't active;
  • The card issuer or the receiver’s bank has returned the transfer or it was restricted due to risk considerations;
  • The recipient’s card is not eligible for this kind of payment;
  • There was a technical error.

In such cases, you can contact the recipient to check with his bank or ask him for an alternative card.
