How can we help you?

Sending and receiving money

Why was my incoming transfer returned to the sender?

There are some common reasons why an incoming transfer may be returned:

  • The beneficiary’s name is not filled in correctly and it does not match the one registered in your iCard for Business account;
  • Your iCard for Business account has been blocked or closed;
  • It was sent from a bank in a country which is not part of our List of allowed countries;
  • The sender bank/institution is within the EU countries and your bank transfer in EUR was sent as an international transfer (SWIFT). Please note that such transfers can be executed as SEPA credit transfers only.

Keep in mind that the returned amount may not be the same as the originally sent, because of the fees taken for processing the transfer and its return to the sender’s bank. Unfortunately, this is not under our control and the intermediate banks will collect fees to cover the costs.
