How can we help you?

Sending and receiving money

What is a SWIFT transfer and how do I send one?

SWIFT transfers are international bank transfers sent via the SWIFT international payment network – one of the largest financial messaging systems in the world. With iCard for Business you can send such transfers in the following currencies: GBP, CHF, RON, CZK, PLN, and ISK to countries within the EEA, and international transfers in the following currencies: EUR, GBP, CHF, RON, CZK, PLN, and ISK worldwide (please check the list with all countries here).

Here is how to send a transfer:

  1. Log into your iCard for Business account from here.
  2. Choose the 'Transfers' menu from the main navigation.
  3. Choose the 'Bank transfer' sub-menu on the next screen.
  4. Enter a valid IBAN of the recipient.
  5. Enter an amount, choose the currency, and select an account to pay from.
  6. Fill in the recipient’s name, transfer reference, and beneficiary’s address.
  7. Review the details you have entered as well as the applicable fees, and confirm the operation with the 4-digit code received via SMS.

Keep in mind that international (SWIFT) transfers usually take 3-5 business days to be processed.
