How to close my account?

Please note that if iCard doesn’t meet your requirements fully, you can always share your feedback with us and we’ll do our best to help in any way we can.

However, if you still wish to close your account, you can do this at any time. Simply send a request to support@icard.com, or contact our Customer Support Team using our live chat.

Please make sure that you meet the following requirements before sending us a request for closure:

  • There’s no balance left in any of your accounts;
  • There are no active premium subscriptions;
  • There are no pending transfers;
  • You don’t have any open chargeback requests.

We cannot close an account that has a remaining balance, an account limitation, or other unresolved issues.

If you have available funds, you need to choose one of the options:

  • Spend your available balance;
  • Send us an official account statement/IBAN certificate under your name in order to perform an e-money redemption according to our Terms & Conditions;
  • Send us your confirmation that we can close your account with the remaining funds.

Keep in mind that if you decide to close your iCard account, all your cards will be deactivated and in case you have any pending payments, they won’t be processed.

Once your request is fulfilled, we’ll send you a confirmation e-mail.

Keep in mind that as a regulated financial institution, we’re required to keep some of your personal data for a certain period of time in order to comply with regulatory and anti-money laundering laws. You can find more in our Privacy Policy.
